TEDxBerlin Salon: Connecting the Dots brought together global thinkers, policymakers, technologists, and changemakers to examine what it truly means to “connect the dots” in the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence. The event created a dynamic platform for dialogue on how AI’s future is being shaped across borders, sectors, and human experience.

The salon featured two moderated sessions led by Dr Mandeep Rai and Geeta Sidhu-Robb, focusing on the intersection of national AI strategies, regional innovation ecosystems, and individual responsibility. The discussions emphasized that AI development cannot happen in silos, but must be guided by collaboration, shared values, and ethical considerations.

An exceptional lineup of speakers shared diverse and powerful perspectives, including Elizebeth Varghese, Safwan A., Mia D., Alvin Wang Graylin, Jakob Trollbäck, Kelly Kagan Law, Christina Boesenberg, Nivruti Rai, Mariam Khayretdinova, Love Dager, and Hayley van Loon. Each speaker highlighted how AI is influencing society from different lenses, ranging from policy and governance to design, business, and lived human experience.

A central message resonated throughout the event: the future of AI will not be decided in isolation. Instead, it will be shaped through intentional connections between people, policies, technologies, and values. Speakers underscored the importance of inclusive dialogue, cross-sector collaboration, and responsible innovation to ensure AI serves humanity in a meaningful and sustainable way.
